We’re an independent, local restaurant featuring American cuisine, locally brewed beer, a full bar and more! We pride ourselves on offering quality food for a great value, and a wide selection.
Olde Hickory Tap Room is located on Union Square, the heart of downtown Hickory. Union Square is filled with interesting shops, boutiques, arts and services. We are near Full Circle Arts, the Hickory Community Theatre and more! There is plenty of parking.

The Olde Hickory Brewery is Hickory’s local brewery. Just a couple of blocks away, they deliver fresh, high-quality, absolutely delicious craft beer to us.
About OHB:
Great beer is the result of meticulous attention to detail throughout the brewing process. OHB beers begin their life as fresh water that flows from the granite slopes of the Blue Ridge and culminate in small batches less than 800 gallons each.
OHB beers are, and have always been, brewed using only select grains, robust hops and cultured yeast, with no additives or preservatives.
These basic ingredients are added with time, passion and the undying thirst for knowledge to produce a variety of quality brews that we’re sure you’ll enjoy!
The Olde Hickory Tap Room is a member of the NC Brewers Guild. The NCBG is a not-for-profit 501(c)6 tax exempt organization comprised of brewers, vendors, retailers, and craft beer enthusiasts focused on promoting North Carolina beer. North Carolina boasts the largest number of craft breweries in the American South, with more than 320 breweries and brewpubs. Our mission is to advance the interests of the craft breweries of North Carolina and to promote North Carolina craft beer.
